Developing Musicianship - Chords Study Buddy app for iPhone and iPad

Developing Musicianship is a series of Apps designed to train the Aural and Theory knowledge of music students. It is also designed to assist teachers in delivering musicianship concepts to their middle years and upper secondary students. The Full Version App includes a theory lesson with defined learning outcomes, peer to peer learning activities, games and practise tests for the individual and can perform as an aid in classrooms that lack piano facilities.

This version is the "Study Buddy" which can be used alongside the full version or independently. It is designed to assist students to study and practice the concepts addressed in the full version of the app. It has been designed to work effectively on both iPhone and iPad. Activities include theory study to enable the identification of chords in treble clef and to ensure the ability to write chords accurately, a game to enable the identification of chords aurally, an aural reference guide and group activities to enable students to test each other in aural recognition.
